The Presidents Cup is the PGA TOUR’s premier global celebration of golf and culture, showcasing international star power through team competition, pride of country, and an unwavering commitment to growing the game and bettering its future.

Played on world class venues, these biennial matches highlight the sport’s universal reach while inspiring generations of fans around the world. Golf’s best compete For Team and For Country while creating an impact across the communities we represent.

Leaving a legacy is a necessity, not an option.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Top-8 U.S. players who earn the most official FedExCup points
  • Top-8 International players (excluding those eligible for the European Ryder Cup Team) from the Official World Golf Ranking.

 

Format

Consists of 30 matches

  • Thursday – 5 four-ball or 5 foursome matches
  • Friday – 5 foursome or 5 four-ball matches
  • Saturday AM – 4 four-ball matches 
  • Saturday PM – 4 foursome matches
  • Sunday – 12 single matches

International Club

Featuring a variety of international and local cuisine, this upscale venue offers guests a seated dining experience with views of golf. The International Club will be located on the 12th hole and has a capacity of 1,000 people per day.

Set in the shadows of historic The Royal Montreal Golf Club players right of the 9th green, this open-air venue provides excellent views of golf in a relaxed '19th hole' environment.

Perfect for hosting small groups and mingling with friends and neighbors in the golf community. 12 guests per day

  • Honorary observers during the Presidents Cup
    • The observer receives a special uniform, get introduced to players and get to follow the players on the course 20-30 feet behind them as they walk up the fairway, from the 1st hole all the way to the 18th.
